The hollow-shaft helical gearbox enables a compact reducer giving an output torque associated with longer motor/planetary gearbox designs. So the motor and the gearbox can now fit into spaces where a normal gearbox does not fit. The large hollow shaft allows cables to go through, perfect for an A,B or C axis, or an indexing table. When using it as a 4th axis, it allows pipe material to fit through. This particular gearboxes is designed for use with a KUKA 1.5kW ServoMotor(MG_60_110_30_S0). The input shaft is 19mm, which is optional on a 1.5kW KUKA servomotor. Optionally the hollow shaft reducer can be produced with a different diameter input shaft. The hollow shaft reducer is perfect for applications, with high inertial loads being positioned with high accuracy and speed using a integrated cross roller bearing. The cross roller bearing also allows high axial loads to be present on the bearings. This can simplify your design, since you no longer need to add your own thrust bearings. The low backlash of 30 arc-seconds or less is perfect for critical CNC applications. Also the stiffness is much higher, when compared to a belt driven system. Higher reduction ratios can be achieved by using together with planetary gearbox or right angle gearboxes.   • Compatible with a 1,5KW KUKA Servo Motor(MG_60_110_30_S0)(126x126mm frame size, and 19mm round smooth shaft)
  • Low Backlash: 30arc-seconds or less
  • Hollow bore for wiring or shafts, driven by your servo motor via large helical ring gear integrated in a rotating flange, which provides smooth, accurate, fast positioning and indexing
  • Flange rotates on precision high capacity “cross roller” type bearing for positional accuracy, rigidity and heavy axial load
  • Direct fixing arrangement with a simple and reliable design
  • High Stifness/Rigidity Allows it to be used in more demanding applications.
  • INCLUDING: Larger reduction ratios achieved by fitting with a right angle gearbox.
  • WARNING: Due to the larger 1:40 reduction ratio, the motor torque/current needs to be limited to maximum of 45% of the nominal torque. During acceleration it is allowed to have for few seconds 300%, so that is 135% of Nominal Motor torque.
