Sensor terminal block - PTIO 1,5/S/4 LED 24 GN - 3244520 (GREEN LED)

These Initiator/actuator terminals are extremely useful for connecting sensors. Most sensors have 3 or 4 wires. Both can be mounted on this product. The sensors always require DC power(+) and DC ground(-). These are present on the terminal. The DC power supply (+) and DC ground (-) can easily be connected to a strip of these types of connections. This can be done by sacrificing one of the Initiator/actuator terminal connections, or by using a special power adapter that can handle thicker wires (see the compatible products). At all times, plug-in bridges are required to make these connections. The exact ones required are also listed in the compatible products tab. You can then also connect the sensor switching wire, usually white or black, and this can easily be connected to a PLC or other connection. Often there is still 1 wire (white or black) left that is empty, there is also a connection for that. So that everything is neatly concealed. The version we offer here is the version with a GREEN status LED, but they also exist without the LED. See DamenCNC product 6634. The LED has an internal resistance between the switching connectoring (white or black) to ground. For this reason its only suitable for PNP style sensors. These are sensor that switches with +24VDC, and not with the ground. This component will not work with NPN type of sensors. In that case buy our product 6634
