NPSW240-24 24VDC 240W - Compact - 1-2 or 3 phase input - DIN Rail PowerSupply

Highly efficient and compact DIN rail power supply. Can be mounted on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rails. The housing is only 54mm wide, saving space in control cabinets. Compared to the most compact Meanwell TDR model at 63mm, this is a further 9mm thinner. It is truly compact.

The entire series utilizes the full range of 1/2/3 phase 187-550VAC with active PFC; 250-725VDC and complies with ENC61000-3-2, the European Union standard for harmonic currents.

The NPSW-240 is designed with a metal housing that improves heat/power dissipation. With an operating efficiency of up to 91%, the entire series can operate between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius under free air convection. It's equipped with a constant current mode for overload protection, suitable for various inductive or capacitive applications. Its comprehensive protection features and relevant industrial control certifications (UL508, TUV EN60950-1, etc.) make the NPSW-240 a very high-quality power supply solution for demanding industrial applications.

This 24VDC is useful in CNC controllers that use DC servo motors. It can be used to control multiple servo motors. It's typically used with 60x60 Leadshine servo motors when more performance is needed. We also use this power supply in our CNC controllers. It's great that it can be DIN-rail mounted, and we also appreciate its compact size. As an option, we also offer a DC braking module that can be connected. This is rarely needed, but it can be very useful, especially in DC servo motor applications.
