Toroidal transformer 2x115V/4x42V 3000VA therm. prot. - RN2238PT

We use this toroidal transformer to make isolation power supplies. This can be handy in applications like EPS cutting, where you do not want to get electrocuted, when touching the cutting wire by accident. The transformer has a double coil on the primary and secondary side, it is possible to make many different setups, with just 1 transformer. This transformer also has an internal temperature switch. A normally closed contact, which switches to the open position if the transformer becomes too hot. You can then link this back to, for example, a PLC or CNC control, or a safety relay, to switch off the system.
