At DamenCNC we often use these modules when we need to interface with several VFD that do not have a ProfiNET interface. Most Delta and other VFDs have a 0-10V input, or a 4-20mA input. This analog output can output both type of signals. Other applications are heat controllers that require an analog signal to regulate the power.

This expansion card is placed to the right of the main CPU on the DIN Rail. Its a relativly compact unit that takes up 45mm of DIN Rail width.
