The supply voltage is 20.4...28.8 V DC. A PROFINET port is available for communication and programming. Thanks to the 100 kB memory, the compact CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC - 6ES7214-1AG40-0XB0 is ideally suited for many control tasks in all industrial sectors.

At DamenCNC we use this as a basic all round PLC module. It has enough inputs and outputs to handle the more complicated tasks. Yet the price is still acceptable. 4 outputs can be used as PTO. This works great to position stepper motors from Leadshine or servodrivers from Delta. Or other brands that can handle a 24vdc pulse train input.

Most often clients use a Delta or a Weintek HMI to make a user interface.
