A Mitutoyo versatile anti-magnetic type lever indicator (or dial test indicator, DTI) suited to alignment operations on machine tools and similar applications. This indicator automatically adapts to the required measuring direction on contact, and the jewelled movement provides lowest friction and stiction for smooth and precise operation. Supplied with a basic set of mounting accessories.

At DamenCNC we use mostly Mitutoyo Measuring Equipment. Its not the cheapest brand, but the quality is excellent. And they work for many years. This lever type dial indicator is perfect for measuring the alignment on CNC machines relative to a parallel bar, or to a granite measure square. It can also be used to measure run out in milling motors. Most often we use an indicator with more precise graduation of 0.001mm for that.
