Flange for Robotic Milling (KUKA KR200,ABB IRB 6600)

Flange designed specifically for robotic milling applications. We have been selling many milling motors in that field for several years. But we have seen that for many clients making a proper flange is time consuming and difficult. Especially when you need only 1 or 2 pieces, it is a big effort. For that reason we have decided to make a product to help our clients with this issue. This flange has been designed with a 30 degree angle integrated, this prevents many issues with singularities in the robotic system. The flange has been designed and tested on 2 specific robots, but will probably fit others that use the same ISO style flange. We have tested this flange on the KUKA KR200, and on the ABB IRB6600. In the images on our website, you can see what the exact dimensions are of this mating interface. The flange has also been designed to fit several different milling motors, and motor series from TeknoMotor. Most often this flange is used with the ATC71 series, which is a high end motor, with an integrated toolchanger. There are many different versions of the ATC71, all of them are compatible with this flange. We have also made the flange so it is compatible with the QTC C51/60 series of motors. Which are also very common in robotic milling, where an automatic toolchanger is not required. To make the design even more flexible, we have integrated the mounting hole pattern, to fit our part number 4271. the TeknoMotor Mountingplate ICP4030. It was originally designed for th e ISEL ICP machines, allowing many smaller TeknoMotors to be mounted tho this series of machines. This mounting plate, will now allow you, also to mount smaller TeknoMotors on this robotic flange.
