NPSW480-72 72VDC 480W - Compact - 1-2 or 3 phase input - DIN Rail PowerSupply

High efficiency and extremely compact size DIN Rail power supply. It can be mounted on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN Rails. The body is only 73mm wide, which means space can be saved inside controller cabinets. Compared to an the most compact Meanwell TDR model which is 86mm, that is another 13mm slimmer. So it really is compact.

 The entire series adopts the full range of 1/2/3 phase 187-550VAC with active PFC; 250-725 VDC and conforms to ENC61000-3-2, the norm the European Union regulates for harmonic current.

NPSW-480 is designed with a metal housing that enhances the heat/power dissipation. With working efficiency up to 91%, the entire series can operate between -40 to 70 degrees celsius under free air convection. It is equipped with constant current mode for overload protection, fitting various inductive or capacitive applications. The complete protection functions and relevant certificates for industrial control (UL508, TUV EN60950-1, and etc) make NPSW-480 a very high end powersupply solution for demanding industrial applications.

 This 72VDC is handy in CNC controllers that use steppermotors. It can be used to power several steppers drivers. Most often used with NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 steppermotors when more performance is required. We use this power supply in our CNC controllers as well. Its great that its DIN-rail mountable. And that its very compact is also something that we prefer. As an option we have also a DC brake module, that can be coupled. It's something that is rarely necessary. But can be very handy to have. Mainly in DC servo motor applications and sometimes with stepper motors that are running very high inertia loads.
